Every year, I say to myself that I will NOT plant more cherry tomatoes. Regardless, they seem to infiltrate the garden with their prolific vines. This year, I decided to embrace volunteers and planted around them. So, I thought.
Intertwined with lemon squash, cucumber, corn and even limas, these little ones have put on quite a summer show. As the season is winding down, their vines are dripping with ripened fruit.
Believe it or not, the holiday season is right around the corner. It will make a beautiful stocking stuffer with its vibrant reds and greens, a hostess gift, or, you may prefer to just stand over the sink and eat straight from the jar this weekend.
