TGIF....Fried Pickle Day! I am in a good mood today and am dying for some fried deliciousness! I am sure the family will enjoy eating these while watching the World Series on television this weekend! Fried Spears Ingredients: 6 dill pickles, quartered 1/2 cup flour 1 egg, beaten 1 cup buttermilk 2-3 tablespoons pickle juice 2/3 cup buttermilk Bisquick 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning 1 tablespoon dill weed 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon white pepper ranch dressing for dipping oil for frying Preparation: Step 1: Heat your oil in a deep pan or fryer until about 180 degrees. Step 2: Place the flour in a bowl and set aside. Step 3: In another bowl mix together the egg, pickle juice and buttermilk until well combined. Add the Bisquick, jerk seasoning and dill weed, stir. Then add the lemon juice, salt & pepper, mix. Step 4: Toss your pickles in the flour, removing any excess. Then dip into the buttermilk mixture and carefully place in the hot oil.
