Today is International Bacon Day! In honor of our friends over at www.BaconAddicts.com, I wanted to share a recipe inspired by Bacon (and my husband!).
It combines two of his favorite foods – well, besides corn dogs – Bacon and dill pickles. It seems like a crazy combination, much like something you’d see in a booth on the midway. The beer batter recipe is one I have used for years to make onions rings.
If you like fried dill pickles, you will love these. It’s a combination of sour, salty, and smoky in a crunchy, crispy, fried coating.
